Sprouting Jars
Grow Your Own Microgreens
It’s been nearly 20 years, that I have been growing my own sprouts. It’s the best way to get your vitamins and minerals. They are amazing problem solvers.
If you have any type of ailments these guys have very impressive results and are rich in taste and loaded with vitamins. Sprouts are packed and I mean “packed” with benefits for your health.
*But choose the right Sprouting Jar,,,
Choose "WIDE''
Avoid the large boxes in plastic - we want to grow in glass, not in plastic
The glass, the lids and the angle matter
My germinator set is from A. Vogel - a Swiss pioneer of natural health Alfred Vogel but I can’t find them on the market anymore.
On this page, you can find similar ones that you can get on Amazon and I would recommend them. I have had mine for 19 years and I have 3.
I grow - Alfalfa, occasionally Mung Beans, Radishes, Broccoli, Kale, Clover etc…
I also grow Cress on plates and other superfoods & Microgreens.
Growing all year long
You can grow so many different kinds of sprouts including spinach, kale, broccoli, reddish but also other leafy supergreens all year long.
You can grow Cress on a plate and Pea Shots in small trays on the window sill. You can have an entire veggie garden in the kitchen…
Red Garnet Amaranth is another beautiful sprout to try…
Sprouts are full of antioxidants and increase the activity of chlorophyll which helps in detoxifying by boosting the oxygen levels in the body. Pair it up with one of my blood purifiers and your energy levels will skyrocket…
In terms of vitamins & minerals, they contain a significant amount of protein and fibre, as well as vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A, folate, pantothenic acid, niacin, thiamin and riboflavin. They also contain zinc, magnesium, iron, and calcium. Many of these nutrients may increase dramatically as the sprout grows. It’s a great replenishment for those of you who are channellers and work with higher frequencies and need extra vitamins, minerals & potassium.
It’s also an important source of protein for vegans and vegetarians and I would dare to say sprouts are the most important food in your kitchen
Choose Organic
Always go for Organic Bio Seeds. Get a multi-pack and explore first…
Eating Sprouts is wonderful. You will fall in love with it. You can add them to many of your meals. Eating Microgreens protects the body, boosts blood circulation, builds your immunity, improves your eyes, skin, lip chips and so much more…
Remember
The best and easiest way how to grow your seeds is using Sprouting jars like this. I got mine from Vogel as a germinator grow set with a sprouts seeds selection, they also have a 3 tier sprouter but the solo glass jars are way better and easier to grow your sprouts.
All it takes is washing the entire thing 2x a day with fresh water, draining it out and leaving it to stand on its head so the remaining water will get out and your sprouts grow. And that’s it, so simple it is. All sprouts come with soaking time, which is required to start the growth.
Stick with the glass jars - those are the easiest to wash and manage… I don’t recommend the large trays to be honest, you can have multiple jars and it is so fast and easy to wash your sprouts. Just remember to go for the wide jar - it’s better - the thin jars are good for Alfalfa but for radish and other sprouts, the wide jar is better
Note: Make sure you wash your sprouts before you eat them ❤
Sprouting Jars & Kits
Unfortunately, I didn’t find any of these on US market and yet those are the best ones. You can get one in Europe - this one is great.
Choose the “WIDE” guy
These below look promising but the one above is the best. Solo Jar with a stand on the lid is the best.
Two Pack from Solight
This would be my choice of 2 Jars, they look like they might have a good lids - not sure about the stand.
These Unique wide Jar is great.
I would go for it, and grow my Cress on the bottom plate.
