Lethargy

Some Interesting facts about food

If you are a meditator you will soon find out that certain foods makes you feel lethargic.

Yogis and meditators with higher awareness and more sensitive system are aware how certain foods changes and affects the human body. But not only the physical form but also your mental and spiritual body.

  • Here is a list of the foods that you don’t want to consume and why.

  • From the spiritual perspective

  1. Mushrooms are the number one - they produce lethargy and mental dullness. They are slow and heavy and low in vibration. But certain mushrooms like Lions main or reishi fall into the spectrum of medical mushrooms and are consumed but in general yogis don’t eat mushrooms because they are not plants. They belong to fungus family. Unlike plants that use chlorophyll to photosynthesize light, fungi use decomposing materials to grow. They lack light and life force. What people don’t know shrooms are almost indigestible. The body will have a hard time to break that down.

    - They can transmit pain patterns to you, they carry the pain memories, they record them. My mother was always telling me that we must peal them because they absorb also the radioactivity.

    - Coming from the Czech Republic we had this huge event in the past when there was a nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the No. 4 reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Russia. That radioactive cloud was hovering above Czech too and the government was quiet about it, so it was well known in my country that we don’t eat mushrooms unless you peal them off but the truth is that no matter the peeling they will still make you feel dull, sleepy, lazy like any death food from the can. They absorb the most toxic of environmental wastes: nuclear radiation. So it is not the best choice in your kitchen. They are very important for the planet though.

  2. Tomato - produce lethargy so use in small amount and preferably at times like evening when you are not so active

  3. Aubergine - kills a part of the brain that is responsible for decision making

  4. Onion & Garlic - affects a lot our emotional body and hits the nervous system to such an extend that it will deplete your prana. Even though they are powerful healers and used as immunity boosters garlic is like a pain killer so imagine you cook with it everyday. Garlic kills the bad bacteria in your gut but also the good one. So if you don’t have a good and strong gut flora you should avoid garlic. Garlic causes rashes, hot flushes, skin irritation, inflammation of the gut and acidity.

Onion at the other hand creates so much gas in the body that it will leave you feel horrible. Yogis don’t eat these two because they create low emotions in our system and are not recommended to be part of out daily diet. You won’t be able to wake up early in the morning, you will be sleepy and lethargic and will lack motivation to do anything. They cause almost like depressed states and irritability…

They both compress and tighten the nadis = the energetic pathways of our body. Both garlic and onion will block you from experiencing higher states of consciousness, not allow you reach deeper states of meditation or even clarity. Your spiritual antenna will be blocked. Despite some benefit, they cause heavy damage to health and block your spiritual development and blunting human natural sensitivity.

  5. Green Chillis

  6. Tea & Coffee will leave you feel zombified, it will dump you soon after it lifts you up. Coffee for example hits my glands and I start to sweat within few min after I drink it. People tolerate coffee because their system is not clean but once you reach certain level of cleanliness you won’t be able to continue consume it.

  7. Sugar - It’s one molecule far from famous drug called amfetanine, it’s highly addictive and it’s everywhere in the products in the grocery store. So you can be easily addicted to pasta or bread.

Another thing to avoid is foods that contain preservatives, GMO, weird ingredients and colorings, food that is fermented, burned, fried, barbecued, and reheated and overripe and unripe fruits.

  • The idea is to eat everything fresh within an 1h or max hour and half. You don’t reheat, and you don’t use plastic to eat or drink from, you are eating for nourishing the system. Not for pleasing only your tongue.

  • On my blog you will find sattvic foods. Such foods are known to purify the body and calm the mind, making you feel lighter and more energetic but also very tasty - your diet doesn’t have to be difficult and it can be still yummy, energetic and simple.
